Small Stoneware Lion II
These characterful stoneware lions are handmade from a buff stoneware clay. Painted with white slip while the clay is leather hard and then when completely dry bisque fired. Each lion is then decorated with oxides and a transparent glaze and then goes in the kiln for the final firing.

Length 15cm
Height 7cm
Width 7cm
Each of ceramic piece is uniquely made; from the brush strokes on the surface to the physical imprints that intentionally remain as a testament to the making process.
