Dog Portrait Tile
Handmade black stoneware tile, decorated with white slip, glaze and oxides. The back of the tile is unglazed showing the black stoneware clay.
Approximate dimensions: 9 × 9 cm and 7mm depth
Please note that I am selling this is a seconds tile as there are bubbles in the clay, please see the pictures.
As with all handmade work (tiles) there will be variations in shape, colour, thickness, etc, all part of the handmade nature of the piece and in my opinion add character and charm.
The tiles can work well in a collection, assembled as a mural e.g. above a sink. They can be displayed on a shelf or table top and can be singularly framed or hung on the wall as a miniature piece of art with these disc plate hangers …
