Each tile is hand rolled and cut from stoneware clay, when completely dry the tiles go through the first (bisque) firing. The tiles are then glazed and decorated and then put back in the kiln for the second firing.

These tiles are all slight seconds or samples. They are more warped and wonky than usual and may have glaze flaws, bubbles or pinholes. Some more so than others, which I have tried to reflect in the various prices.
