This was one of the tiles I made as part of my Tapestry Tiles collection with The Shop Floor Project. As you can see it didn’t make the cut!

Please note that I am selling this is a seconds tile as the glaze came out a bit too faint, or so I thought at the time. It’s funny when you revisit work sometimes you wonder why you were so critical, I actually rather like the faded look.
As with all handmade work (tiles) there will be variations in shape, colour, thickness, etc, all part of the handmade nature of the piece and in my opinion add character and charm.
The tiles can work well in a collection, assembled as a mural e.g. above a sink. They can be displayed on a shelf or table top and can be singularly framed or hung on the wall as a miniature piece of art with these disc plate hangers …
